This photo was taken in the afternoon during a long hike through Tang-e Ghooredan canyon, near Eqlid in Fars Province. What started as a peaceful walk turned into a real challenge — after 4 PM the weather got very cold, and since there was no clear trail, I had to find my way through the wild forest based on experience alone. After hours of walking in complete darkness, we finally reached our destination at 8:30 PM. The Ghooredan valley is truly beautiful in spring and autumn, and this image captures a small part of that untouched natural charm.
